Daisy Thank You

Welcome back to another project using some new to me Altenew products. I am having so much fun with the flower layering stamps.  I can't seem to get enough of watching these flowers come to life with each additional color added.

Today's card uses the Spring Daisy stamps/dies. I stamped the daisies and leaves and die cut them out.  I placed them on my panel to see where I'd like them and then using nuvo glue I adhered them down.

I used distress oxide in spun sugar and added some light color to the base. I love how it gives the card just a little bit of pop and leaving the center white really helps the sentiment stand out.

I used the fancy thank you die and cut it three times. I glued two together and then used distress oxide shaded lilac on the third and glued it to the other two to give some substance to my sentiment.

The yellows on this card make me so happy. It's been a crazy up and down winter so looking at these gives me a little hope that it will soon be spring!! I hope you'll give one of these techniques a try!

Thank You!

I am so excited to share this card with you today.  I've gotten some new Altenew products and finally sat down to play with them.  I have to say that I was a bit intimidated with their line of build-a-flower stamp sets and didn't think I'd ever be able to put them together and make the cards look good.

I sat down and just started pulling out different supplies and got to work. At first I wasn't sure if the two stamp sets I pulled would work together but I really like the way it turned out. I couldn't be happier with the color combinations and how well they go together.

For this card I used the new Dotted Diamonds stamp set along with the Build-a-flower: Begonia stamps and dies. When I first saw this begonia set last month I knew I had to get it and play.  It has such beautiful images and it makes putting flowers together so easy.

Hello partner in crime

Good morning! Another great day to craft! I am still playing with the color challenge over at Stampnation and using some new products that I haven't had a chance to use from Altenew.

I have a hard time coming up with ideas sometime but this card just crafted it's self.  It came together so quickly.

I used my inkpads for a direct to paper coloring and then cut out the leaves and flowers from that paper. I attached them after adhering down the hexagon shaped black strips.

I cut out the background for the hello and used a blending brush in limonchello to create a muted background for the hello. I did cut out two of the hello and attached them together to give a little more depth. Loving the way this turned out!!

Hello There Friend FMS422

I was so happy to be able to play with this cute stamp set from Catherine Pooler's club sursee subscription.  I love all things winter and this set has a cute little penguin (but I didn't use it lol)

The sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches was a great choice for this card and it came together quick fast. I like how it has the long panel that you can use for your stamped images. A lot of different things can work for it.

Here is my finished card. I colored in the dear using different ink pads and a blender pen and then die cut him out and popped him up. Instead of string or ribbon I used sequins that matched the colors I used.

Dream Big #sncolorchallenge

Good morning!! I finally finished the 87 wedding invites and rsvp cards and now I get to make new projects!! Today I used the Stampnation color challenge to create this cute dream big card.  It took me a few times to get the sentiment to cut out correctly, but once I pulled out my precision plate it cut perfect!

The colors I used for this card are Catherine Pooler-mint to be, aquatini, queen for a day, lemongrass and limoncello.
