Let Your Dreams Bloom...Coloring on Kraft

Hi everyone! Welcome to another great challenge over at

Today's challenge is to color on kraft cardstock.

This is actually my second try for this challenge. I was going to color in a cute image for a birthday card with color pencils, but once it was finished I didn't like the way it looked. I just haven't figured out how to color well with pencils, yet.

I changed over to a pretty floral image and stamped it in embossing ink and embossed it in gold on the main card panel.

I used my Altenew artist markers to color in the image in two different purples and two different greens. I am loving the way this card looks. I haven't done this technique in a while so I'm glad it's our challenge this week!!

Here's a closer look at the bottom floral and sentiment. I added two different gold washi tapes to the side and then some antique gold sequins to pull everything together!

Now it's your turn! Give this technique a try and share on the blog!

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!!
