Hi everyone! I have a fun card to share with you today. I've been taking a class over at the Altenew Academy called
This class has been so much fun. I didn't get to start it until three days in so I'll have a few more posts coming your way. But for day one it was a fun technique using simple coloring stencils.
I used Kind Reminders coloring stencils to create the inside of my flowers and leaves. I did stamp the outline with the stamp to give me a nice crisp look.
I used three different colors of purple to create the flowers. Using one color per each. By just layering the color on with the different layers of stencil it gave an appearance of multiple colors. I created the leaves the same way.
For the upper corner I used the foliage stencil. this is also a two layer so I thought it paired well.
I ended up not using all three flowers I colors I decided to decorate the inside of my card with the third. I knew if I didn't use it on this card changes were I'd never use it.
Supplies:
All by Altenew:
permanent black, wisteria, pale mauve and soft lilac ink
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!!
