Unity {Be Inspired} Challenge

I have these wonderful old photos from my Grandma that I just haven't been able to scrapbook.  I went out and bought paper, cardstock and embellishments and they've been sitting in a box waiting to be used.  I lost her in January and am just now wanting to take these out and do something with them.

I chose to use the layout for the Unity {Be Inspired} challenge.  The layout is simple and really wanted to use it.  I normally scrapbook in 2 page layouts but since most of the photos I received have only one or two that go together, this was perfect.

I was having a hard time leaving the one section clear of any photos or embellishments.  I decided to make a journaling tag to go in the space but once I finished it and went to adhere it, I didn't like the way it looked.

We were very lucky growing up.  We lived with my grandparents and my mother.  Due to this I grew very close to my grandparents.

  2. What a treasure this will be for generations to come! My sister and I also lived with our parents and grandparents, so I too was very close to my grandmother! Your cherished photos look so pretty on that beautiful background! I love the pastel images and text!
