Unity {Be Inspired} Challenge May 14-June 10

I have today off from work and what a better way to spend my time than stamping?!!  Okay, Okay I've been cleaning and doing laundry to lol. But I just had to create something! It's been almost 3 full weeks since I got to sit down and stamp.  And with a possibility of a cast on Friday I'd better get all the crafting in that I can!!

I love these monthly {Be Inspired} challenges from Unity! It  always has me pulling out my Unity stamps and getting crafty with them. I absolutely love this company.

This is the card sketch that is offered up to create with.  I changed mine up just a bit so I could use the May 2015 kit of the month.

2015

So it's finally time to start thinking about Graduation announcements and invitations. Say WHAT!!! I can't believe that in one short month my oldest will be graduating. I know he's so ready to move on and be done with high school but I'm not sure I'm ready for it. He's come such a long way and I can't wait to see what the rest of his life has to hold for him.

Here is what I came up with so far.  This one would be an invitation to his party, which he really doesn't want.

I used a sketch from Mojo Monday.  It's a tall and skinny but I made this card a standard A2. I'm happy with the way it came out.

Unity FWF, FMS184

It has been a very long week here.  Between work, kids and injuries I'm glad its almost over.  It took me so much longer to create this card than normal due to a wrist injury that just seems to get worse instead of better.  As long as I can craft I'm good.

I chose a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches to use for the Unity Friends With Flair. I don't usually get another day to create so Fridays are my day.

I like this sketch due to it's simple layout.  I had such a hard time deciding what kind of embellishments to use and where to put them. I decided on just some hemp.
I used Quick Quotes powder puff chalks to distress the edges and not have so much "white" space.

Supplies:
SS:
INK: cherry cobbler & pik pirouette pads, maraschino cherry, cherry blossom & green with envy chalk ink
CS: red, green & cream cardstock, authentique lovely collection
ACCESS: hemp twine, oval & oval scallop punch
