I have a co-working getting married in May and she blessed me with the pleasure of creating her wedding invites and r.s.v.p. cards. I had so much fun coming up with some ideas and couldn't wait to get her approval for the one she wants!
Here are the two different ones I made for her to choose from. For this first one I gave her three options for the sentiment. Black ink, silver embossing power or black embossing powder. I used my silhouette machine to create the card with the dress cut out and then stamped the background and added some silver cardstock inside to give the couple some shimmer.
For the next card I used my silhouette again and cut out a couple and popped them up for some dimension. I used a silver ink pad to stamp the background.
So...which one did she choose? 1 or 2? She chose number 1!! That one is my favorite one as well so I'm so happy that's what she decided on. She also decided on the black embossing powder to give a bit more oomph!!

I created this card as a sample for a bridal shower. It's not what she wanted to go with (just tweaked it a bit) so I'm sharing this one. I'll share the finished project once it's complete.
I love creating invitations for all sorts or events. I've done bridal showers, graduations, birthday parties and so much more. It's something no one else will send and makes them a one of a kind keepsake.

Good morning crafters! Here is another installment for the Sketch~N~Scrap design team. This sketch was a lot of fun. I think I finished this whole card in about 25 minutes. The idea just flew out of my head.
Here is what I came up with. I showed it to my daughter and these are now going to be her invites to her high school graduation party! Thankfully I don't have to make to many as there was a lot of hand cutting and die cutting on this lol.
Supplies: cardstock, lacy border punch, lacy embossing folder, leaf dies, regarding dahlias stamp set~Stampin' Up!, ink~The Stamps of Life

2015
So it's finally time to start thinking about Graduation announcements and invitations. Say WHAT!!! I can't believe that in one short month my oldest will be graduating. I know he's so ready to move on and be done with high school but I'm not sure I'm ready for it. He's come such a long way and I can't wait to see what the rest of his life has to hold for him.
Here is what I came up with so far. This one would be an invitation to his party, which he really doesn't want.
I used a sketch from Mojo Monday. It's a tall and skinny but I made this card a standard A2. I'm happy with the way it came out.
