Demystifying Mixed Media Day 4

So, as promised, here is day 4 of the Altenew Mixed Media class. This class is all about inlay die cutting.  I had a lot of fun creating this background. I even had my older son help me pick out the paint color to add. 

I used caps bold alphabet dies to create my lettered background. I have been eye balling this set for quite some time and finally purchased them. I have so many ideas for this set.  

I used the antique gold shimmer spray on this when I was adding the color to the background. It's so fun to watch it the ink move around and combine with the spray.

Here's a closer look at all the different elements going on. I have marigold ink, antique gold spray, green pop acrylic paint and antique gold embossing powder.
