Pumpkin Time TMS# 517

I found a great sketch over at Tuesday Morning Sketches today and I couldn't wait to play along.  I didn't really know what I was going to do but I knew I wanted to play.

I decided to start out by digging through stamps I haven't really used in a long time and found two really great sets that help set the tone for my card. I then scoured through my patterned paper packs and found the perfect papers.

Here is the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches

Here is what I came up with.  I die cut the pumpkins and layered them on top to give some dimension. Lately I haven't really been using to many embellishments so I added just a few drops of nuvo drops to give a little "bling" to my card.

Spidy Pumpkin

I am so excited about the coming season.  For some reason when fall hits I feel renewed and ready to go.  When the leaves fall it's like a new year ( I know, I know, spring is usually the start over point). I love the fall smells, decorations and the cool, crisp air that comes.

So, when Stephanie Barnard came out with the new pumpkin fold it card I just HAD to have it!! Then she came out with the makers challenge over at Sizzix using her fold it cards and boom, this card was born lol. I am so happy with how this turned out and I think I'm going to make some for Thanksgiving to!

I've had this paper sitting around for about 4 years now.  I love the different patterns so I haven't been using it in fear of using it all up.  But the web paper just seemed to fit!

Supplies: pumpkin fold it die,  bewitched patterned paper, tangerine tango, whisper white, chocolate cardstock,

Hello ctd413, cts #193

I recently rediscovered the Color Throwdown challenge blog.  I finally got to sit and craft using one of their challenges. I paired it with CASE(E) this Sketch! challenge and got the card below.  I started with one idea for this sketch and it just didn't work (the ice cream cone was WAY to big), then I thought a Halloween card would be fun and I ended up with this cute pumpkin card.  Just goes to show how the creative process works. All in all, not what I was looking for but it works.

Here's my card!
