Happy Anniversary

Hi everyone! I'm back today with an anniversary card I created for a few different challenges. I combined a tic, tac, toe, sketch and color challenge to create my card.

I did flowers, die-cut and embossing

I really enjoyed combining these and using some products that I haven't yet used.  Pretty much everything on this card is the first time I've used them lol.

I really liked the color choices as they were bright and cheerful.  To create the flowers I used poppy moments dies from Stampin' Up! and melon mambo, flirty flamingo and blushing bride cardstock.

I used the painted poppies stamp set to get the splatters in blushing bride on the white strip.I think it adds just a bit of interest without overpowering the floral's. I used call me clover and pear pizzaz to create the leaves.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!!

Stand Tall {PP301}

Spending a little time crafting today so I pulled out this cute flamingo stamp set that I've had for a bit but haven't had a chance to use.  I love it with this simple sketch from The Paper Players.  It came together fast and easy.

Happy Easter

Here is a card I threw together this morning.  I created it for the challenge over at  The Paper Players and since it's Easter why not make an Easter card! I've recently started distressing the edges (again) and love the look of it.  It's an older technique but one I find myself going back to often.

This is the sketch for this week. Once I figured out what image I was going to use it just all came together.

It's a bit hard to see in the picture but I used a dotted embossing folder on the background to create some dimension.
Supplies:
SS: blessings4kitclub (the stamps of life), crazy about you (stampin up)
INK: pistachio pudding, calypso coral, coastal cabana, vintage photo, black memento ink
CS: light blue, dark brown, happy day dcp (my minds eye)
ACESS: dotted embossing folder, basic jewel rhinestones
