Happy Easter CC70

Good morning everyone! I hope you have a fantastic day so far.  I wanted to share a card I made for a Easter Card challenge over at Soul Scrappers.  I found this one to be a bit challenging as I don't really have a lot of Easter supplies on hand.

I ended up finding some cute eggs on Cricut and a egg wreath for the background.  I dug through my stash of stamps and even found one that said Happy Easter!

I used some thin washi tape to add some more color and Nuvo drops as my embellishments.  I like how they give just a bit of flair.

Smile FFF March 2019

I love scrapping pics of my pups! Sandy hardly ever likes to let me get decent pictures of her.  She's always walking away, turning her head or moving so it's blurry. I was happy to see this one came out pretty well!

I used the Freaky Fast Friday March 2019 recipe from The Scraproom.  I just recently started using these and they make it so much fun since it's just a recipe and no sketch.  Everyone's comes out different.

Life~March Jump Start

I have been working on getting older photos scrapped over the last few weeks and this layout is no different.  Sometimes you have to stop scrapping the present and suck it up and get the past done lol.  Pretty soon I won't remember what we did in any of the pics.

I used the March jump start sketch from The Scraproom and turned it into a two page layout. I seldom scrap one page by itself so I just mirrored it. I also used their March TSR Color Challenge

My son was so excited to have a day at the zoo all about Autism Awareness. He thought it was cool to have a day all about him.  He couldn't wait to see the new Dino exhibit and get to play around "digging" up bones.

Since I have so many photos from this day I didn't want to stick myself in a box by using only zoo or animal related products.  I will most likely use some (as I plan on making this it's own album) but I didn't want each page to have it. I cut the dinosaurs on my cricut as a free cut file.

Celebrate AHSC # 308

Hi everyone. So glad your back for another great Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  I'll be honest, I had a little bit of a block (no pun intended) when I started this card.  I just couldn't figure out what I was going to do.

Once I remembered I had some backgrounds made from my gelpress it came together pretty quickly.  I wanted to add a bit of bling so I die cut the sentiment from glitter cardstock.  I then added a little stamping to the opposite corner to give just a tad more interest to the card.

A Day To Remember #SSQ38 The Great Outdoors

I joined in on a challenge over at Soul Scrappers to use a envelope of products sent to me.  The challenge is not knowing what you were going to receive and just going with it. The biggest challenge I had was figuring out how to make all the items work with the photos I chose.

There are a few pieces I didn't end up using as they were to feminine for the pics. These were the items I was sent to use.  We had to use the banner and decorate it.  I was thinking of stamping on it at the beginning but decided against it once I felt the texture.

Here is my finished layout.  Can you pick which items I used and didn't use? I love this pictures of my youngest at the Zoo for Autism Awareness Day. He asked to go and couldn't wait to partake in all the fun.  I have a ton more pictures to scrap but I think I'll make this the front page.

World's Greatest Show

Here's another great sketch challenge from Sketch~N~Scrap.  This page came together quite nicely.  I found this picture in with a bunch from a cub scout outing for my oldest and I just knew I needed to scrap it.

I did change it up a bit from the sketch as I only had one picture to work with.

I didn't add to much embellishments to the layout.  I did put two staples on one of the arrows but other than that I left it just as is.

Many Thanks TSOT #399

I had a lot of fun with today's Try Stampin' On Tuesday challenge.  As soon as I saw this sketch I knew exactly which stamp set I was going to use.  The sketch is a mix up so there are so many different possibilities!!

I decided to do the sketch and to use the bright colors in the upper left hand corner of the photo. I love how vibrant they are and couldn't wait to get to it.

Here is what I came up with.  I love this many thanks stamp set from Catherine Pooler Designs. So versatile.

I popped up each layer to get a little dimension and to add interest.  I am loving my dimensional dots as of late. The only embellishment I added was a strip of silver glitter tape.  I'm really loving how this card turned out.

Time To Party!

I bought this stamp set at the Scrapbook Expo last year and totally forgot that I had it!! So when I saw this sketch for Sketch ~N~Scrap I knew it was perfect.  I was happy that I could use my Elizabeth Crafts circle dies to get close to what the sketch presented.

My circle is a bit larger that I anticipated it would be.  It ended up covering up most of my banners that I added.

Now it's your turn.  Start crafting and make sure to add your link to your blog on the Sketch~N~Scrap blog.

Sending Prayers AHSC #306

Welcome to another sketch challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  I took a clean and simple approach to this weeks sketch.

Here is what I came up with.  I don't have many sympathy cards and this set from Fun Stamper's Journey is such a sweet set.
