Play Ball

Thanks for joining us for Sketch~N~Scraps 6th Birthday Bash! How exciting!! The sketches for the birthday bash are so much fun!!

I am still working on pictures from a Sports day my son had in middle school (he's now almost a Jr in high school) and these sketches have been a big help.

Here is today's sketch

Here is my layout.  I also created a second page to go along with this using the same sketch. Since I pay a membership to use my cricut now I'm trying to use it more often.  One of the best things about it is getting free images to use. The basketball/net was free, thankfully, as my kids have never really played sports.

Cuppa Tea

Hello and welcome to another installment of the Sketch~N~Scrap card sketch challenge.  I created my card using the new Cuppa Tea stamp set.  I'm loving this cute Victorian style image it produces and who doesn't love tea?

On to the sketch

Playing Around

I've gotten to play a lot today in my craft room.  Such a nice way to end my vacation.  I'm loving how these cards turned out!!  All of these cards use ink and stamp sets from Catherine Pooler.  I'm trying to get my card stock pile built up so anytime I can get some done is a great day!!

Hello

Hi everyone! I am having some fun crafting and watching crafting online today.  I received an awesome email from Catherine Pooler today with a new technique and I just happen to have the dies she used. I couldn't wait to pull them out and get crafting.

I'm loving how this card turned out and I'm so going to make more of them with different themes and colors.

Here is the link to the Patterned Paper Framed Die Cut Cards.  Check it out and give it a try with dies you have on hand.  No telling what you can come up with!

Happy

Good morning! I have another installment of Sketch~N~Scrap sketch challenge for you today.  This is an extra for me this month and I had a lot of fun creating with it.  It's been a long time since I've thrown a page together in only about 1 hour.  I really love the way it turned out.  Make sure to check out more below as I have a second page that goes along with it that I made for a scrap challenge on National Scrapbooking Day (May 5th)

Here is the sketch for you to play along with

Here is my take on the sketch. My son's middle school had a fun sports day and he couldn't wait to go.  He got to play so many different games and everyone was thrilled to have him there.

And here is the first page I did.

National Scrapbook Day

I was so excited to finally have National Scrapbook Day off of work and able to play.  I recently changed from a retail job to a "9-5" M-F job and its fantastic!!  I was able to play along with Kiwi Lanes challenges and I made a few cards as well.

I had so much fun making all of these layouts and cards. Really got me into a scrappin' kinda mood and I'm just enjoying my space and craft again.

Here are the projects I created. I also made a couple of other cards that you can see here

Hooray It's Your Day

I am loving this Ring in the Celebration stamp set.  I found some samples online and couldn't wait to put ink to paper.  I did case this card but can't give credit to the original as I don't have the name.

I really like putting a little pizzaz on the inside of my cards. Gives it that little something as I leave most of my cards blank until I either use them or sell them.

Sweet Challenge #275

Over at Stampnation there is a really fun challenge.  Challenge #275 Sketch.  It's such a sweet and simple sketch and has so many different options for beautiful cards.

I'm loving how this card turned out.  I used the circle outline from Ring in the Celebration stamp set along with polished, sugared lavender, eucalyptus, sauna and stone blue inks.  Along with the new sweet die that's in the SOA kit this quarter.
