Smile

I recently joined a scrapbook kit club and am loving the amazing samplings of products you get each month.  I created this layout below using The Scraproom's January Jillibean soup You make miso happy collection and The Scraproom's February jump start layout.

Here is my finished layout. I have these old pics of the day my daughter got her braces off.  She was so happy to be done with them! I just wish these photos would have turned out a bit better.

Oh What Fun

I am having some fun using products that I've had for way to long.  I have a big problem with buying because I love it and have to have it and then I won't use it for fear or running out of it. I seem to forget that there's always something new coming out.

For this layout I used my Kiwi Lane templates and the Merry & Bright paper kit I bought, I believe, in 2017. The papers seem to fit with the fun loving pics of my kids on Christmas Eve at my in-laws.  I love that my little guy just can't help but bust up laughing.

I used my Cricut to cut out the title. It's a bit bigger than I thought it would be but I just couldn't seem to get a good cut otherwise.

I decided to add a second title at the bottom of the second page so that I would remember when they were taken. I didn't journal on this layout as I feel the pictures tell a pretty good story on their own.

Nap Time

Hello.  Welcome to the July 15th sketch challenge at Sketch~N~Scrap. Check out the sketch and my sample and join in the fun!

Since the photos I wanted to use didn't go vertical I decided to turn the sketch on it's side. My youngest always slept in the funniest ways when he was a toddler.  I so miss getting these cute pics from him.

Santa Joy

Welcome to another installment of Sketch~N~Scrap's sketch challenge.

Santa? What?! Did I really put Santa in the post title? I sure did!  I couldn't help but scrap these sweet Christmas photos of my oldest two (who are now 21 and 19).  They were so excited to see Santa and get their gifts from Nana and Papa

Play Ball

Thanks for joining us for Sketch~N~Scraps 6th Birthday Bash! How exciting!! The sketches for the birthday bash are so much fun!!

I am still working on pictures from a Sports day my son had in middle school (he's now almost a Jr in high school) and these sketches have been a big help.

Here is today's sketch

Here is my layout.  I also created a second page to go along with this using the same sketch. Since I pay a membership to use my cricut now I'm trying to use it more often.  One of the best things about it is getting free images to use. The basketball/net was free, thankfully, as my kids have never really played sports.

Happy

Good morning! I have another installment of Sketch~N~Scrap sketch challenge for you today.  This is an extra for me this month and I had a lot of fun creating with it.  It's been a long time since I've thrown a page together in only about 1 hour.  I really love the way it turned out.  Make sure to check out more below as I have a second page that goes along with it that I made for a scrap challenge on National Scrapbooking Day (May 5th)

Here is the sketch for you to play along with

Here is my take on the sketch. My son's middle school had a fun sports day and he couldn't wait to go.  He got to play so many different games and everyone was thrilled to have him there.

And here is the first page I did.

Family

I created this layout using Let's Get Sketchy March 15th layout challenge.  It was the perfect compliment to the Sisters layout I created.

The actual pictures are the best but I just couldn't, not, use them.  My mother-in-law was always doing goofy things to make people laugh.  She actually started twerking once!!

Sisters

Hello everyone.  I played along with Let's Get Sketchy March 1st layout challenge.  We recently lost my mother-in-law and we found some photos of her and her sisters (and other family members).  The picture I used on this layout is extra special as three of the four ladies have now passed on.  We miss them everyday but finding this treasure was a blessing.

Cherish Each Moment

Welcome to another Sketch~N~Scrap layout challenge. I am giddy about this page! I found these old photos of two of my children at my mother-in-laws and couldn't wait to scrap them.  As we were cleaning out her home it brought back some great memories of all the Easter hunts she would put on for the grandkids.

Here is today's sketch

Here is my finished layout (I will most likely be making this a two page spread). It's hard to believe that these two cuties are now 21 and 19! Where does the time go??

Vacation layouts 2015

I'm finally starting to scrap the photos from our vacation in 2015.  I took a lot of photos and haven't really felt like scrapping them. I used this great layout from Sketch~N~Scrap's Queen of Hearts challenge, you can join HERE.

This is the sketch

And this is my finished layout.  I didn't title it as I think I'll make a complete album just for the vacation.

Sweet Boy

Welcome to another installment of Sketch~N~Scrap's layout challenge.

I love these pictures of my now almost 16 yr old son.  He's my baby and coming across these pictures was just perfect.  I miss his sweet little face.

Here is the sketch for my layout

I decided to do a two page layout for this so sketch.  I just flipped it and added one extra small picture so that I could use all of his cute/funny face pictures!!

X-Mas 1976

Here is a layout using photos from when my cousins and myself where just little tots.  I love looking at these old photos.  I don't get to see pictures of me to often so this was a real treat.

I used the sketch from Sketch~N~Scraps January New Beginnings Facebook event.

Here is my finished layout.  This is the second to last page for my mom's album (which she received on Christmas). Hard to believe I'm almost done with it.

Grad Party ~ Stick It Down Challenge

Here is another layout for my sons graduation.  This time it's pictures from his party.  I didn't get to many, as he hates having his picture taken, but I'm loving the ones I do have.  Everyone seemed to really have a great time and made his day that much better.

He had so many struggles in high school and he rose above them and came out on the other side stronger and happier.

Here is my layout
