So Patient

Good morning! I've had these pictures of my son for over a year now and just didn't know what to do with them.  I love the effect of the sunlight on the photos, it's almost like there's a rainbow on him!  He was so excited to be able to ride in the bed of this tractor, until they started going up and down all the hills. Then he couldn't wait to get off!!

I love the sketch for Sketch~N~Scrap's February 1st layout challenge.  Such a great layout and so easy to change up for any photos you'd like to use.

This is the sketch
This is what I came up with

Crazy About You

Hello!  Here is my second card sketch challenge from over at Sketch ~N~ Scrap.  I am having a blast working on these sketches and getting to share them with everyone.  I decided to do a "love" card since Valentine's day is just around the corner.  Not sure yet if this will be the hubby's card or not.

Here is the sketch

And here is the card I came up with.  I'm normally a background paper kinda girl but decided on this card to use an embossing folder.  To be honest the embossing folder is the reason this card ended up a love card and not the baby card I was intending.

Supplies: Stampin' Up!~ carstock and love embossing folder, wood elements and sticker pack.

Happy In Love

For this layout challenge I chose to use an old photo of my hubby and I from when we were dating.  This is one of the first pictures we took and he was always such a champ about going to my school dances with me my senior year.  This was my last Turnabout dance and even though we were both super sick we went anyway.  I don't think we stayed to long though.

I used the sketch from Sketch ~N~ Scrap for this layout.  I did tweak it just a bit to fit my picture.

Here is what I came up with.  I had a hard time with decorating the tag.  I was going to just leave the top blank but every time I walked by it all I could think was it needed something else.  I let it sit for a few days and finally came up with something.

Supplies:
Stampin' Up!~timeless type alphabet dies, dsp paper, cardstock, happy die and white brad
The Stamps of Life~ teddy bear dies (hearts) and love dies
Kiwi Lanes~ tags stencils (#7)

Beautiful Girl

Here is my first submission for my new placement to the Sketch ~N~ Scrap design team.  We moved into our new house back in September and it's taken me a bit to figure out exactly what I want to put up on my walls.  We finally decided on some frames for multiple photos.  While finding pictures I came across these two of my only daughter.  She's going to soon be 18 and it's hard to believe she was ever this little.  I am definitely going to be getting a frame and hanging this one up in my scrap room.

Here is the sketch I used to create this layout
And here is what I came up with

Supplies:
Close to my heart~Clementine designer paper and cardstock,
Stampin' Up!~thin whisper white ribbon and pearls
Cricut~alphabet font
Kiwi Lane~Mini Madison Ave stencils and brown ink
