Birthday Coffee? Yes Please!

I found two great challenges to do today and decided to combine them.  I did Freshly Made Sketches and Seize the Birthday.

I really wanted to incorporate the coffee challenge from Seize the Birthday into the Freshly Made Sketches sketch challenge.  So I swapped out the "start" with my coffee cup.  I haven't really had an idea of how I should use the coffee set so this was the perfect challenge to get me to think outside my comfort zone.

Coffee or Tea

Here is what I came up with. I colored the mug with colored pencils and then used a blender pen to take out some of the harshness.

It's Your Birthday

Hello.  Here is a birthday card using the sketch from Sketch~N~Scrap!  I love having extra cards on hand so when I need a birthday card (or any other celebration) I can just grab and go.

Here is the sketch for today

NANA

We recently lost my mother-in-law, so finding this old pic of her with my first born is such a treasure.

I used the sketch from Sketch~N~Scrap to create this layout.

And here is what I came up with.  Doing this layout even got me to use stamps that I don't think I've ever used lol.  I've had them forever though.

Hello

This is the second page in my vacation album for our Wisconsin Dells trip in 2015.  I took a ton of photos and never got around to scrapbooking them.  I'm super excited to finally get this going.  Now to scrap the other 120 or so photos!!

I used a sketch for the Queen of Hearts Crop from Sketch~N~Scrap.  Loving that this crop is helping me get some real crafting done.

Your Invited

I created this card as a sample for a bridal shower.  It's not what she wanted to go with (just tweaked it a bit) so I'm sharing this one.  I'll share the finished project once it's complete.

I love creating invitations for all sorts or events.  I've done bridal showers, graduations, birthday parties and so much more.  It's something no one else will send and makes them a one of a kind keepsake.

Birthday Card Fun

I spent the day "snowed" in.  We've gotten so much snow the last three days that I just couldn't muster the strength to drive in it again.  That said, I got to spend the whole day crafting and creating a ton of birthday cards for a #Bdaydone challenge over at Stampnation. I am absolutely loving Catherine Pooler and her wonderful community.  Not only does she have great products but the community she started has tons of inspiration to get your crafting juices flowing.

Here are all the cards I've gotten done today.  All of these cards will be getting sent out at some point this year to the people I love.  It's so fun to be ahead of the game, knowing that they aren't expecting it!

Amazing Birthday

I always need more masculine cards.  I'm always drawn towards girly colors (even though the boys out number the girls).  I don't know what it is but the darker boy colors just don't call to me.

This card just kinda made it's self.  I chose the patterned paper and the stamps and dies just fell into place.  The sketch I used is for the Queen of Hearts crop for Sketch~N~Scrap. Come play along with us, we'd love to have you.

Here is the sketch

Here is my finished card

Vacation layouts 2015

I'm finally starting to scrap the photos from our vacation in 2015.  I took a lot of photos and haven't really felt like scrapping them. I used this great layout from Sketch~N~Scrap's Queen of Hearts challenge, you can join HERE.

This is the sketch

And this is my finished layout.  I didn't title it as I think I'll make a complete album just for the vacation.

Sweet Boy

Welcome to another installment of Sketch~N~Scrap's layout challenge.

I love these pictures of my now almost 16 yr old son.  He's my baby and coming across these pictures was just perfect.  I miss his sweet little face.

Here is the sketch for my layout

I decided to do a two page layout for this so sketch.  I just flipped it and added one extra small picture so that I could use all of his cute/funny face pictures!!
