Family

I created this layout using Let's Get Sketchy March 15th layout challenge.  It was the perfect compliment to the Sisters layout I created.

The actual pictures are the best but I just couldn't, not, use them.  My mother-in-law was always doing goofy things to make people laugh.  She actually started twerking once!!

Sisters

Hello everyone.  I played along with Let's Get Sketchy March 1st layout challenge.  We recently lost my mother-in-law and we found some photos of her and her sisters (and other family members).  The picture I used on this layout is extra special as three of the four ladies have now passed on.  We miss them everyday but finding this treasure was a blessing.

Adventure Begins

Welcome to the last card sketch of the month at Sketch~N~Scrap! This was a fun card to make.  I got some new stamping products and just had to use them on this card! I don't usually do a white base but I really wanted to use a ton of ink colors.

Here is the sketch

Here is my card.  Didn't quite work out the way I wanted but I'm happy with it.  I didn't realize the matching dies were all connected by little pieces of metal and I have nothing to cut them with.  Oh well, means I get to play more later lol.

Extra Special

I used the following challenges to create this cute birthday card. I haven't done a lot of just one to two colors in a while so it was a bit of a challenge not to add more.

Love

I have been spending my day crafting away.  I was able to go to a retreat last weekend and now have been bit by the crafting bug.  Hubby's out with friends and the kids are off doing their own things so here I get to sit, crafting.

I found this cute sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday blog and crafted the following card.

And this is what I came up with.  I used all the scraps that are on my table from previous cards I made today. It came together really fast.

Cheerful Hello

Hello again.  Today is the second day for the Lucky Charms Crop over on Facebook. Head on over and join in! We'd love to have you play along.

Here is todays sketch

and here is the card I came up with.  Now it's your turn.  Head over and join in the fun.

Hello (Scrap lifting cards)

Good morning! I recently commented on a post that I loved her card and was going to "scrap lift" it.  She didn't know what that meant so I told her the definition and then that I would create my card.

I made this, this morning and am loving this stamp set! It's just a beautiful set and can be used for so many different projects.

I used stamps and inks from Catherine Pooler Designs.

Homecoming 2017

Welcome to the Lucky Charms Challenges! join us on Facebook and start crafting!!

I used two awesome sketches to create this Homecoming layout for my son.  He's my youngest and the only one who went to any of the homecoming dances.  He really had a great time and enjoyed just hanging out with all his friends.

Here are the two sketches I used

Cherish Each Moment

Welcome to another Sketch~N~Scrap layout challenge. I am giddy about this page! I found these old photos of two of my children at my mother-in-laws and couldn't wait to scrap them.  As we were cleaning out her home it brought back some great memories of all the Easter hunts she would put on for the grandkids.

Here is today's sketch

Here is my finished layout (I will most likely be making this a two page spread). It's hard to believe that these two cuties are now 21 and 19! Where does the time go??
