Today's challenge is to use up your OLD STASH items. Get them out and use them up (then you can get new stuff lol). I recently did a huge de-stash so I don't have anything to old.  I did use a paper kit from Simple Stories I've had a little while.

I had some pieces left over so I made a card as well. I hate keeping scraps so better to use them all up!!

This weeks challenge it to create a summer wedding project. Who couldn't use one?

I used a cute wedding couple that I purchased and colored them in. I fussy cut them out so that they would "pop" off my card.

I used an Altenew heart die to create the background in three different, soft colors of cardstock. I then added some silver glitter washi tape to the edge and added a thin strip of the light purple cardstock. 

I didn't realize until I uploaded the photos that these two look a little sunburned. I guess they forgot the sunscreen before heading down the isle!!

WAY TOO SWEET

Hi everyone! Welcome to another great challenge at

 

Today's challenge is SUMMER (beach, sand, ice cream etc)

I had a lot of fun creating my project. I used some bright summery colors and, of course, ice cream!!

I used one of my favorite techniques to create the yellow triangle and pennant, direct to paper inking. This is a great way to get matching colors. They will always match what your creating and with the Catherine Pooler ink's you get amazing coverage.

This challenge was perfect for this stamp set. This is my second card for this lol. The first one got "destroyed" when I dropped my inked stamp by accident. Has that ever happened to you?

Tropically Yours

I'm super excited to come to you today with a sketch from the new design team I am on.  I was selected to join the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge! So excited to be a part of this amazing team.

I'll be doing two sketches a month.  The sketch for today is a fun one!

I changed the layout just a tad to work with the stamp image I wanted to use.  I sponged color to create a sunset effect.  The yellow isn't showing up as well as in person.

I found this great sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.  This card came together so quickly and you can make so many different cards by just changing a few things around.

Here is my card. I'm loving the stamp of the month from The Stamps Of Life.  Such a cute set and dies to create some awesome summer/beachy themed things.

Welcome to another installment of Sketch~N~Scrap card sketch challenge! I've been trying to use different stamp sets that I have accumulated over the years and haven't really "broke" in.  This time I used a really cute bee set.

I can't believe it's already August 1st! Where has the time gone?  My youngest will soon be starting his sophomore year and he's my last to finish up school.  So not ready!!  What better way to "prolong" summer than with a great challenge from Try Stampin' On Tuesday!! Not only do they have a great sketch but they have a optional theme of "Dog Days of Summer". Perfect.

I chose to use a watermelon stamp set from The Stamps of Life.  This set is just to cute and I love the step stamping it has to create multiple colors.
