Turning 40

So, I'm a bit behind scrapping these photos of my hubby's 40th birthday dinner (he's going to be 42 this year) but truth be told I forgot I had them until today!! Oops.  Better late than never.

I found this great two page sketch challenge over at Let's Scrap and it's perfect for these photos.  Since I took them on my phone they are all facing the same way (not sure how that happened).

I love the simplicity of this layout.  So many different options!

Hello again! I've been a little MIA this past few weeks.  Lots going on and just not enough days in the month.  Here is my layout for the Sketch~N~Scrap March 15th layout sketch. I chose to do a two page spread as I had way to many photos of my son playing golf lol.  I just couldn't choose three!!

Here is what I came up with.  I used the title on my second page to help it flow from one to the other better.  I used mostly paper embellishments on this layout and just a few metal. 

Share Memories

I have been working on pictures of my niece for, it seems, like ever.  She's 19 years old and I'm still scrapping baby photos!  I'm hoping I'll have them done before she's 30!!

I normally scrap in two page layouts and knew that I wanted to use the sketches from this month over at Stuck?!.  But I had to figure out how to make them a two page spread.  I pulled out all my supplies and laid them out to see if I could get the two sketches to work together. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.

I'm loving the bright colors.  I used retired paper from Creative Memories called Candy Shop.  Such vibrant, fun colors.
