Welcome to today's sketch challenge for Try Stampin' On Tuesday! There is also an optional challenge with the sketch: family fun.  I decided to make my card about dogs as my pups add a lot of fun to our family!

Here is my card.  I used  new doggie stamp and mini stamps I purchased from Stamps by Judith and Heather and I love it.  I punched the backing for the smaller two dogs out of red sparkle paper to add a bit of pop to the card. 

Stink Eye Jake

These pictures make me giggle something horrible.  I totally forgot we taught our youngest how to "stink eye" lol.  He does it so well and still gives us them 11 years later.  Jacob was only 5 years old and we were waiting in line and trying to keep him happy.  He loved how everyone around him laughed when he did it.

I chose a layout from Let's Get Sketchy to use these cute pictures. It took me a bit to get it just the way I wanted it.  I played around with a few different templates before settling on the one's I used.

Here is my layout. I used several different Kiwi Lane templates as well as the June kit.  I love how even though it was for camping I was able to make it work here.

Scrapbook Expo Haul 2018

I had so much fun this year at the scrapbook expo.  Not only did I shop (and boy did I) but I also did four classes and the crop event on Saturday.

I decided to create my first ever YouTube video for my haul.  I had a lot of fun going through everything I purchased.  I've had the crafting bug for well over a week now lol

I also decided to create a video for the classes I took as well. I loved all of them and am hoping to take even more next year.

I'm in total craft mode today.  I've been crafting away to get ahead on my design teams and I couldn't stop. I made this card for the Sketch~N~Scrap  slice of summer crop on Facebook. There is still plenty of time to play along and win a prize. It ends on August 31st.

Here is the card I created.  I used some tear-ific tape from Sparkle N Sprinkle to create a strip of glitter bling.

Here is a close up of the glitter strip.  I love that you can see the background paper through it.

Happy Birthday Color Challenge

I was at the scrapbook expo this weekend and I just couldn't pass up these die sets.  I found so many goodies that it made it hard to choose what to use first lol.

Welcome to another awesome sketch challenge from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog. This weeks sketch is amazing and has so many different possibilities.  I couldn't wait to pull out these new stamp sets and dies to use for this!

Here is my card. I used blue ink color to create the effect of blue card base and then layered the grunge stamped paper on top.  I love how this turned out and I can match my cardstock to my inked images every time!

Adventure

Hi everyone! Today I'm posting a layout of my oldest from his cub scout days.  I love looking back on these pictures and to see his cute smiling face.  He's now 21 years old and it's so hard to believe.  

I joined the new Kiwi Club and absolutely love it!  Every month you get a layout kit and it includes and exclusive template set.  For this layout I used Junes kit (also the first one to come out) which was camping.  

I decided on a cub scout layout due to not really having any camping pics.  I love that's its so versatile that it worked here.

Hi everyone. Welcome to another great sketch challenge at Sketch~N~Scrap.  Today's sketch is a layout sketch.  I decided to turn it sideways to work for the photos I wanted to use.

I love how he gets so into what he's watching or playing that I can sneak in pictures.  These are from a few years ago and when I pulled them out today he couldn't remember what he was doing.  I told him all I wanted to do was tickle his feet lol.

Happy Father's Day

I know right? A Father's Day card? I've been thinking of joining the craft fair here in my town over Labor Day weekend and I want to get my stash up so I'll hopefully have just the right card for that perfect someone.

And here is what I came up with.  I created this card while I was watching vidoes on people's craft hauls from the scrapbook expo.  Here in Illinois it's coming up next weekend (17th an 18th) and I can't wait to go!!

Try Stampin' On Tuesday #375 Happy Birthday

I finally used a stamp set I've had forever! I mean, like years! Crazy!! This sketch from
Try Stampin' On Tuesday was perfect for it.

I have a whole set of these perfect fit stamp sets that I purchased a while ago from Close To My Heart and have never used.  I've hung onto them hoping one day I just might pull them out and play.  I made two cards so far using this sketch

I stamped the main image in black and then used ink pads and a sponge to blend the three colors over the image to create some color.

Tropically Yours

I'm super excited to come to you today with a sketch from the new design team I am on.  I was selected to join the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge! So excited to be a part of this amazing team.

I'll be doing two sketches a month.  The sketch for today is a fun one!

I changed the layout just a tad to work with the stamp image I wanted to use.  I sponged color to create a sunset effect.  The yellow isn't showing up as well as in person.

Magical Day

Hope your having a magical day today.  Welcome to another Sketch~N~Scrap  card sketch challenge. This is a really fun sketch and has so many different things you can do with it.  Below is the sketch for this weeks challenge

I've really been into Unicorns and rainbows lately and it's really been influencing what I'm purchasing.  So, when I saw this sketch I knew this rainbow was perfect for it.

I pulled out an oldy but goodie embossing folder and made some clouds for the background and to give my card some dimension.

I was drawn to all the bright colors. I've so been wanting cooler colors and weather but I couldn't pass up using these bright sunny colors.
