STAY PAWSITIVE W/INKY STAMPER

Hi everyone! I'm sharing my second card for my Guest Designer spot at

I used the Dog stamps and dies to create this fun card. I wanted to create a scene to show just how happy this doggie is to have all his favorite stuff!!

To create the "room" I used paper from a fun 6x6 paper pad from Doodlebug Designs called buffalo check-wood grain. Using the brown wood grain for the floor and a fun blue check for the wall.

To create the blanket I cut a small 2x3 square from the pink check and cut slits in the ends to create the fringe (my dogs would so chew up that fringe).

I used dies to create the picture frames and did a direct to paper with ink pads to create custom colored frames.

He's just so darn cute! That face makes me so happy!!

SKETCH CHALLENGE WITH THE STUDIO DESIGN TEAM

Hi everyone! We have another great challenge over at

Today's challenge is a sketch challenge based off a layout one of our design team members created. I can't wait to see what you come up with using this.

We recently purchased some new rugs and one of them went in my craft room. The dogs are always wanting to sit in there with me but hate the hard floor. So, I couldn't pass up a chance to get this cute pic!

Murphy so seldom lays still and lets me take pictures of him. I always seem to get him with his head moving or he gets up and walks away.

I used a new paper/sticker pack from CTMH called BLOOM WITH GRACE. The colors in this kit are so pretty and work well to highlight the white in the rug and Murphy.

I wanted the title to jump off the page so when I got the MEGA GREETINGS 3 stamps/dies I knew this was the title I wanted. I have to admit that I thought there was a smaller stamp that said man's best friend. I guess wishful thinking lol. But this worked.

Now it's your turn. Give this sketch a try and share it with us over at the blog!

WAG YOUR TAIL

Hi everyone! Welcome to a fun ANYTHING GOES challenge at

This is a fun only challenge this week! I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!!

I created a fun card using LET'S PAW-TY from Close To My Heart. This is a fun new set that just came out today in their new 2020-2021 catalog.

Using my misti stamping platform I stamped the main dog background image in black ink. I then used my alcohol markers and colored in the same pup twice. He was the happiest one and I thought he worked well with the sentiment I chose.

I stamped the sentiment onto black cardstock in embossing ink and embossed it with crisp white embossing powder. Then I chose two different shaped paper punches to cut out the sentiment.

I am loving this set. I can't wait to create more cards with it. There is also a kitty version that's available today as well called CATTITUDE

Now it's your turn to play along and don't forget to link it up on the blog!!

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!!

I'm Being Watched...

Ever had the feeling like your being watched? It's a daily occurrence in my house. Our doggies just love "watching" us!

Today I'm sharing a design team project for
The challenge is to use 3 squares, 2 circles and 1 triangle in your design!

This is what I came up with.  These pictures were taken during my first round of stay at home order. I was working in my craft room and felt something behind me lol.

I really enjoyed making this layout. It took me a couple of days to decide what I was going to use to for the shapes. I decided on 3 square photos, 2 die cut color wheels and small triangle stickers as accents.

I wanted to use the title I'm being watched but I also really liked the smile die cut in this kit. So decided to use the smile as my secondary title and add it to my picture to help it pop more.

I laid out the three square photos in succession to show the progression of him getting closer and closer lol.  He's such a stalker!!

I've been wanting to use this color wheel die for a while and didn't have an idea for it. I was happy to see this challenge as it was the first thing to pop into my head to use.

Now it's your turn! Give this a try and upload to the blog!

Love Happy Memories

I was able to get these cute photos of our dog Louise. She just stood there staring at me looking all cute so I, of course, took full advantage of the situation!  Our other two dogs never sit long enough or stay still long enough to get a really cute picture.

I used a layout challenge from the SG Scrap Squad on Facebook. I love being a part of this group. They are having virtual crops all through April to help keep us up beat. This is the first challenge of the weekend.

I had a lot of fun with the bright colors of the papers and I couldn't help but use the bright aqua blue for the background. It just screams Spring.  I did have a bit of difficulty with the patterned part. It took three tries to get it right.

I enjoyed making the little clusters of embellishments with just using the 12x12 sticker sheet that came with the paper pack. I didn't really care for the sentiment that was on the tag so I pop dotted the memories sticker over it and added the happy.

I used a thin pink washi to make the title placement. I was originally not going to put a title up there but felt it was a little bare with just the bird. I dug through my stash and found this cute love epoxy sticker.

Life is Better TSOT 377

Welcome to today's sketch challenge for Try Stampin' On Tuesday! There is also an optional challenge with the sketch: family fun.  I decided to make my card about dogs as my pups add a lot of fun to our family!

Optional challenge: family fun

Here is my card.  I used  new doggie stamp and mini stamps I purchased from Stamps by Judith and Heather and I love it.  I punched the backing for the smaller two dogs out of red sparkle paper to add a bit of pop to the card.

Live Simply

Live Simply, that is such a great way to live. I love how dogs have such a simple life.  All they need is food, water and lots and lots of love.

I found this great picture of one of my dogs and just had to use it.  I can't believe I hadn't yet!  I took this during the winter but love how it turned out using this summer paper pack I found.

I used the sketch from Sketch~N~Scrap to create this.

Here is the finished project.  How can you resist that face?!

My Dog (dogs)

Thanks for joining us for another Sketch~N~Scrap challenge.

I don't know about you but I have so many pictures of my dogs.  It's almost as bad as all the pictures of my kids! They are just so cute and I catch them laying together all the time I just can't help but grab my camera or phone.

Here is the February 15th sketch from over at Sketch~N~Scrap.  Head on over and check the rest of the design team out and join in on the fun!!

This is what I came up with. I've had this title FOREVER! I wasn't sure I wanted to use it at first but it pretty much sums up the page and this is just how my dogs always are lol.

These two almost never let me take their photos.  Every time I grab the camera they move or run away (again, just like my kids).  So it's nice to get these.  Murphy (the white dog) thought he was getting a treat!!
