Foxy Lady!

Good morning everyone! It's a cool rainy day here so of course I'm going to craft! There is another great sketch challenge over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog and I've had this card in mind all week.

I actually pulled everything out on Wed. totally intending to sit and craft, but life got in the way (laundry mostly lol) and I just didn't get to it.

Here is the card I made using this awesome sketch.  I've started doing a little water coloring. It's definitely a work in progress but practice makes perfect right?

Supplies: The Stamps of Life July card kit, foxes2stamp and foxes dies(the stamps of life), midnight, over coffee, baby girl ink (Catherine pooler)

Today's Your Day!

Hi everyone! Welcome to the July 20th card sketch challenge at Sketch~N~Scrap! This was a fun one.  I love having different patterns on projects. Gives so much more interest to a card or layout!

Here is the sketch.  Check it and my card out then head over to Sketch~N~Scrap's website and play along.

Here is what I came up with. I'm loving these bright colors.  I normally lean more towards quite/fallish colors but it's hot here so sunny and bright is a must!

That's How We Roll...

The Red, White & Blue Crop started on July 13th over on Facebook. I'm loving the sketches and this stamp set just jumped out at me to use with the following sketch. Join us for the crop and start crafting away with us!!

There are so many different things you can do with this sketch.  I do have a lot of star sets as well and may make another card using them as well.  I searched through all my stamps (I have WAY to many) and found this cute toilet paper set that I bought a while ago from Unity Stamps. I thought, why not lol.

I used a technique I totally forgot about until recently.  I dabbed ink on my craft mat and dipped a blender pen into the ink and colored in the rolls. By the third one (the blue one) I had it down.  I still like the way it turned.

Nap Time

Hello.  Welcome to the July 15th sketch challenge at Sketch~N~Scrap. Check out the sketch and my sample and join in the fun!

Since the photos I wanted to use didn't go vertical I decided to turn the sketch on it's side. My youngest always slept in the funniest ways when he was a toddler.  I so miss getting these cute pics from him.

Hello

Happy 4th! Hard to believe it's already here.  It's for sure been hot enough but the time just seems to fly these days.

I made another card for a sketch over at Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge.  I'm so glad I found them last week.  Loving their sketches!!

Here is sketch #271

Here is my card.  I used a stencil to create the two tone background and love how it turned out. I usually like a more clean and simple card so this takes me a little out of my comfort zone.

Deck The Halls

I was inspired by a wonderful crafter over at Stamp Nation to use my secondary images to stamp a card.  Since I'm still super warm I did another holiday card.

I love how this turned out and I'm going to pull out more of my smaller images and make up some different cards.

It's to Warm!!

It is so warm here in IL at the moment between the temps and the humidity it feels well over 100!  I felt the need to pull out some of my favorite Stamps By Judith stamps and create some "cooler" weather cards.

I did a Halloween tree and a snow globe. I like how both turned out but the Halloween card has a little stamping error but hey, who cares lol.

I did stamp the inside of both cards as well as layering them.  I like having full cards complete so I can just grab and go.

Red, White And Blue/Stars Challenge #282

I think this is the perfect challenge for this weekend.  With the 4th of July just days away what's better than Red, White and Blue/stars??

Over at Stamp Nation they are hosting this awesome challenge.  Here is the inspiration. I love the more rustic colors that can be used for the holiday.  Makes it more primitive.

I also used this great sketch from CASE(E) This Sketch!

Here is my project.  I used a new stamp and die set from Catherine Pooler Designs.  I love anything stars so it's a lot of fun to use.
