Hello! I am back and having some crafting fun today. I created this card using a sketch from Stampnation. I recently joined and am loving all the inspiration over there. This is the first challenge I've done there and can't wait to see the end result of the contest.
Here is my card I made. This is basically a one layer card. My white cardstock is so thin that I had to mount it onto something or it wouldn't stand.
Supplies: seaglass, pixie, banana and candy ink, hooray4kitclub sentiment stamps, candles4birhtday and morecandles2stamp stampsets (all items listed above are from The Stamps of Life), tuxedo black ink, white cardstock, pink cardstock, pink/white twine

Happiness is...Just Us Girls Challenge #407
Good morning! I started making this card yesterday and it just wouldn't cooperate for me. Needless to say the first one ended up torn and in the garbage (we all have projects like that right?)
So this morning I gave it another go. I used the color challenge from Just Us Girls and let me say I SO wanted to do patriotic for this but felt the need to go out of the box and not!
Here is the challenge

Here is my finished card. I'll be honest the card came together rather quickly but getting a decent picture took forever.

Spidy Pumpkin
I am so excited about the coming season. For some reason when fall hits I feel renewed and ready to go. When the leaves fall it's like a new year ( I know, I know, spring is usually the start over point). I love the fall smells, decorations and the cool, crisp air that comes.
So, when Stephanie Barnard came out with the new pumpkin fold it card I just HAD to have it!! Then she came out with the makers challenge over at Sizzix using her fold it cards and boom, this card was born lol. I am so happy with how this turned out and I think I'm going to make some for Thanksgiving to!
I've had this paper sitting around for about 4 years now. I love the different patterns so I haven't been using it in fear of using it all up. But the web paper just seemed to fit!
Supplies: pumpkin fold it die, bewitched patterned paper, tangerine tango, whisper white, chocolate cardstock,

Live Simply
Live Simply, that is such a great way to live. I love how dogs have such a simple life. All they need is food, water and lots and lots of love.
I found this great picture of one of my dogs and just had to use it. I can't believe I hadn't yet! I took this during the winter but love how it turned out using this summer paper pack I found.
I used the sketch from Sketch~N~Scrap to create this.

Amazing
Good morning! Time for another amazing card sketch challenge from Sketch~N~Scrap! This was a bit of a challenge for me. I couldn't figure out how to get the sentiment to work for me. Then I remembered I have TONS of paper punches!
Here is the sketch

And here is my card. All the cardstock and papers I used came out of my scrap stash. I have way to many so it was nice to get to use a "few" up.

Happy Summer
I can't believe it's already August 1st! Where has the time gone? My youngest will soon be starting his sophomore year and he's my last to finish up school. So not ready!! What better way to "prolong" summer than with a great challenge from Try Stampin' On Tuesday!! Not only do they have a great sketch but they have a optional theme of "Dog Days of Summer". Perfect.
I chose to use a watermelon stamp set from The Stamps of Life. This set is just to cute and I love the step stamping it has to create multiple colors.
Wild 2
Well, I finally had time to get the second page done for the Wild layout I did a bit ago that you can see HERE. I really love scrapping in two page spreads and when I still had tons of these rock climbing photos left over I knew I'd have to find another sketch so I could finish it.
I decided to use the sketch challenge from Sketch~N~Scrap to compete this! It came together so fast I think this was my quickest layout yet (in under 30 minutes)!!

As you can see I did change it up by flipping it. This works best with the first half of the layout
I decided not to add any embellishments as the paper is pretty busy already and it keeps it simple.
