HI Hottie!

Finally! Some much needed time in my craft room!  I've gotten two challenges for the design team I'm on done already and now to enjoy some challenges.  I used these two challenges for the card below.  What fun. I'm loving the colors from "Just Us Girls".  So summery and bright.  Maybe it'll bring some summery weather our way! The sketch I got from Freshly Made Sketches.

October 97 NSD5 5th bday bash

Hello! I hope you are enjoying the Sketch~N~Scrap Birthday bash!! This is our second installment in the sketch fun!  This layout came together quite easily for me.  It just poured out of me!!

Here is what I created.  I found these pictures from my oldest son's baptism (he'll be 20 in June!).  The lovely lady on the right is his Great Grandma, who we just lost last year so it makes finding these pictures bitter sweet.

Now it's your turn! Create your layout and load it to Sketch~N~Scrap!!

Your Invited

Good morning crafters! Here is another installment for the Sketch~N~Scrap design team.  This sketch was a lot of fun.  I think I finished this whole card in about 25 minutes.  The idea just flew out of my head.

Here is what I came up with.  I showed it to my daughter and these are now going to be her invites to her high school graduation party! Thankfully I don't have to make to many as there was a lot of hand cutting and die cutting on this lol.

Here Comes Santa Claus NSD5 5th Bday bash

Welcome to our first NSD5 5th birthday bash sketch! So happy your here and I hope you'll play along through the whole month!!  I found this cute picture of my kids from long ago and just couldn't pass up the chance to use it with this great sketch from Sketch~N~Scrap. This was a fun layout to do. I love the circles in the background and love being able to pull out my circle stencils from Kiwi Lanes and create with them.

Let's Slide!

I had a lot of fun with this great sketch from Sketch~N~Scrap.  The layout itself came together quite fast. I was going to use it for a Mother's Day page and add the photos later but once I started I just "needed" to add pictures.

I found these cute pictures of my youngest at the park and couldn't resist.  Normally I wouldn't use such "girly" colors and embellishments but, heck, why not?!

Now it's your turn.  Head over to Sketch~N~Scrap and join in!!

Here is what I came up with.  I'm loving how bright it is and it just makes me happy lol.

Hello Dear Friend

Hello again! I'm here with another great sketch from Sketch~N~Scrap.  As soon as I saw this layout I knew exactly what stamp set I wanted to use.  I just recently "found" it again lol.  Hiding in my stash.  Crazy right?!

Here is the fabulous sketch...

And this is what I came up with.  All the products are things I've had for quite some time and just never got around to using.

Believe Shine

Good morning! Here is another great layout challenge for the design team over at Sketch~N~Scrap.  I was originally just going to create the layout and come up with pictures later but then I remembered I had these selfies that I've been taking during my life style change.

I have been up and down a roller coaster with my weight over the years.  The worst being I topped out at 248 lbs.  A friend thought I was pregnant and that was the beginning of me losing the weight. I got to a comfortable weight of 155 and was happy but still having issues with bouncing back and forth to 200 and back down.

Back in October I found a great company called 310 and have never looked back. I've not only learned that I don't need so many of the things I was putting into my body and that I LOVE to cook!! Who knew?!  I'm down now to a weight and size I never thought I'd be at, EVER and am very happy with my body, mind and spirit.

The page I created is only half the story, I still have pictures I haven't printed that are the ending.  I'll create that at a later time and share it.

Here is the sketch

And here is my layout
I used a lot of patterns and colors to share how good I've felt as I took these pictures.  I've never been one to want my picture taken, now I want my husband to take the camera and include me in on everything!!

Supplies: chalkboard paper pack~We Are Memory Keepers, rings, lacy trims and adventure sten

Birthday Cake!

Good morning.  Today is another wonderful day for a sketch challenge over at Sketch~N~Scrap. I had fun with this one.  I made a birthday card since my girlfriends birthday just past, it was perfect.

Here is the sketch for your inspiration

Here is my card

And I also decorated the inside.  I like adding a little extra...

All that's left is writing a personal message and giving it away.  That's the best thing about making cards, giving them away! Don't you agree?

Time With You FMS279

I'm loving the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches. Once I decided on an image I wanted to use it came together quite fast.  I even got some coloring in!  This sketch has so many different options, you could create a multitude of different cards all using it!

Here is my card.  I kept the color pallet pretty simple and didn't use any patterned paper since I knew I was going to be coloring the image in.  I did use an embossing folder on the yellow cardstock to add some depth and dimention.

Supplies: stamps ~ Unity, carstock, embossing folder and pearls ~ Stampin' Up!

Thank You Try Stampin' On Tuesday Challenge #313

Good morning! I have been wanting to play in my scrap room for some time now and I finally have a couple of days with no work.  I'm fighting some sort of bug but it's not going to stop me!  I saw this cute sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday and just had to give it a shot.

I did change it up a tad but I wanted to use a stamp set that I've not used before, and truth be told not sure I'll be able to figure out other uses for it.  I really love it though and I know it has so many options, I just need to spend time to figure them out. I also went a little out of my comfort zone with using the ribbon.  I'm not a huge fan of ribbon, but again, I have tons of it!! Gotta use it up!

Today

Hello again! I've been a little MIA this past few weeks.  Lots going on and just not enough days in the month.  Here is my layout for the Sketch~N~Scrap March 15th layout sketch. I chose to do a two page spread as I had way to many photos of my son playing golf lol.  I just couldn't choose three!!

Here is the sketch for inspiration

Here is what I came up with.  I used the title on my second page to help it flow from one to the other better.  I used mostly paper embellishments on this layout and just a few metal.

THANKS ~ FRESHLY MADE SKETCHES #673

Hi everyone! Today, I'm sharing a fun card I made using Freshly Made Sketches, sketch #673.  I have been working hard the last few mon...
