I found this great site for sketches called Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Wish I'd found this site a while ago. The sketch was so much fun and I was able to pull out some new products and play. They are also doing a design team call so I'm going to submit this card as part of that.
Here is the sketch
Here is what I came up with. I used white as my card base and took my blue ink pad and made the "colored" cardstock. I love this technique and your cardstock will always match your ink.

It's A...
Good afternoon everyone. I'm trying to get a good stash of cards made so that I can either sell them or have them on hand when I need them. I noticed I'm really low on baby cards so using the sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday I was able to get two done in the matter of minutes! The only thing that took me a few minutes was trying to figure out the embellishments to use.
Here is the sketch I used
I made two cards. One boy and one girl card. I'm thinking of stamping the inside with a baby stat stamp and make them announcements.

Believe
I found a great sketch challenge over at Rochelle Spears. Not only is it a sketch challenge she also added that you must use chevron paper on it as well. I love chevron so this was super fun!
Here is her sketch
SUPPLIES: candy cane lane paper pad by DCWV, silver brad (hobby lobby) and candy cane brads (eyelet outlet)

Here is my finished layout. I've had this black, red and white paper pack for, it's gotta be 4 years now and I've never used it. I'm trying to use more of what I have on hand and get my stash down (the scrapbook expo is coming very soon).
I miss the days of Santa coming to visit the kids and them being so excited for Christmas Eve at Nana's. Now they are 21, 19 and 16 and Christmas just isn't the same. I love finding old photos and getting to scrap them!
This Is Awesome!
Here is a layout I created for the Let's Get Sketchy mid month sketch challenge. I really liked all the different elements for this layout.
This is what I came up with. I found this old photo of my now 21 year old son and just love that smile!! This was a great sketch for this photo as it makes it the complete focal point.
Call My Shell Challenge FMS342
I found this great sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches. This card came together so quickly and you can make so many different cards by just changing a few things around.
Here is my card. I'm loving the stamp of the month from The Stamps Of Life. Such a cute set and dies to create some awesome summer/beachy themed things.
SUPPLIES: shells2stamp & die shells (the stamps of life), grape, ocean and gingersnap ink (the stamps of life), midnight ink (Catherine pooler designs), sparkle collection paper (the stamps of life card kit) and pale periwinkle jewel drops (nuvo)
Tag! Your It! Challenge #281
There is a fun challenge going on over at Stamp Nation right now called Tag Your It. It's been a lot of fun seeing what everyone has been coming up with. This version is to case one of the cards done and make it your own.
I really love how Peggy used stamps to create a cute background for her pup.
Here is what I came up with. I used an ink pad to create the matching blue paper. I've never done that before but really love how it turned out.
Here is a close up of the sentiment. I used a sponge dipped in the red ink to add some color to the circle.
SUPPLIES: stars4you stamp set (the stamps of life), rockin' red, juniper mist, something borrowed and midnight inks (Catherine pooler stamps), red twine.

Sunny Smiles
This card was a lot of fun to make. I made it for a challenge over at Stamp Nation. The challenge is to use geometric shapes.
Supplies: tiles2stamp and sentiment set (The Stamps of Life), daydream, polished, sauna, mandarin spice, green tea and midnight ink (Catherine Pooler Stamps)
Wonderful Friend
Good morning! I'm enjoying the beautiful sunlight from inside today as I craft. It's already 75 degrees here and it's only 8am! Crazy. I love the warm days but the humidity is horrible. Perfect time to craft.
I'm trying to use all of the new goodies I've purchased lately and finally came up with a card idea for this awesome stamp set. I'm loving how it turned out.

Focus
Good evening. I had some time to play in my craft room tonight and I was able to get a small stack of cards created. I'm trying to create everyday (doesn't happen though) so that I can do some craft shows/fairs and maybe make someone else's day with a cute card or layout.
This card came to me while making another. I love the vibrant colors and how well they go together.
Supplies: Focus on the good stamp set, stamped rectangle dies, grass skirt, be mine, all that jazz, limoncello, midnight and grape crush ink pads, black/white twine. (all supplies except twine are from Catherine Pooler Designs)

Celebrate
I joined in on a challenge over at Stamp Nation. I'm loving being a part of this community. There is so much inspiration and fun.
Challenge #279 is Masculine Color Challenge. This came at the perfect time as I am now creating all the birthday cards for my co-workers (which I love doing) and I have another male to make for.
This is what I came up with. I didn't really want to over due it with embellishments so I just added a small one in the lower corner. I used mini ink blending foam and handles to lightly add color to the background. The colors are green and browns but this pick looks a bit more purple lol.

Santa Joy
Welcome to another installment of Sketch~N~Scrap's sketch challenge.
Santa? What?! Did I really put Santa in the post title? I sure did! I couldn't help but scrap these sweet Christmas photos of my oldest two (who are now 21 and 19). They were so excited to see Santa and get their gifts from Nana and Papa
